Greene County librarians were pleased with the number of excited children and happy adults who attended the ninth annual Toddler Fest Saturday at the Greene County Community Center. The librarians and 63 volunteers hosted 113 children and 103 adults for a variety of activities. According to Terry Clark, children’s librarian in Jefferson, the turnout was the biggest they’ve had for the event which seeks to encourage children to “bee readers.”

Rick Eugene made balloon creations and the Jefferson Rotary Club gave every child a book to take home.
